Is the 'Black Forest' Black?

The Black Forest is a mountainous region considered to be one of the most beautiful nature spots and favorite tourist destinations in the southwestern Germany between the Rhine and Neckar rivers. It is the best place to explore the natural beauty where one can go hiking or biking through the mountains. Not only you can be with nature but also enjoy the fresh air as you explore the different attractions the forest paradise has to offer. The region is known for its spas, health resorts and thermal baths. Baden-Baden and Bad Wildbad are famous for thermal and mineral baths. You can also experience a Gutedel wellness spa in Badenweiler (selection of health and beauty treatments using wine essence and grapeseed oil). The different tourist destination which surrounds the black forest includes Triberg, Gutach River Wasserfall, and Maria in Der Tanne. Triberg is famous for its highest waterfalls situated directly on the Black Forest railway line. Just below the lower entrance to the waterfalls, the Black Forest Museum is also worth seeing. It is the birthplace of Cuckoo Clock where you can discover the “World’s Biggest Cuckoo Clock” that still functioning. Gutach River Wasserfall is considered to be one of the highest waterfalls in Germany and a landmark in the Black Forest region. Each year, it attracts numerous tourists worldwide. Maria in Der Tanne is a small baroque church near Triberg and was known for its legend. A man cured his leprosy simply by washing in the water from the spring. In Black Forest, vacation rental properties are spread throughout the region which enables tourists to easily acquire lodges in their preferred Black Forest destination. Most vacation homeowners market their vacation property through various known websites like www.arrangeyourvacation.com.com, www.1001-ferienwohnungen.de, www.accommodationdirectory.org, www.apartmenthomesrent.com, and many more which gives owners bigger chances to reach Black Forest vacationers. This is a beautiful intel! I had a good friend who used to live near the Black Forest in Germany. I always thought that someday I would travel there with her but she passed away a year ago and now I'll have to replan my trip.
