Ah Berlin, Germany! With such a turbulent history, this graceful city continues to change before our eyes as time goes by. Just imagine how things will have changed there twenty years from now, and you will be, one of the lucky ones who got to see the state that it is in right now! After all, many of us watched on TV as the city that was once divided into two became one as the wall dividing the two came down. This great city is littered with cobblestone streets, old style cafes and wonderful shops and boutiques. Berlin, Germany is one place that will fascinate everyone no matter whom you are or where you from. Although Berlin is not the largest city in the world it does contain over 7,000 restaurants and pubs! So no matter if you're looking for a great night out and an elaborate meal, or if you just looking forward to grab a quick bite before you head out on the town for some fun, Berlin will not leave you empty handed. Also located in the city are just over thirty different theaters as well as many places where you can watch a musical or even a cabaret. If you're the type that is more likely to be found in a museum than a pub don’t worry because Berlin will leave a smile on your face too! As this is a city that has been built on change you must realize that there are many different museums that you can wonder in and out of as you walk along the historic cobblestone streets. Just looking around the city you can see the changes that have taken place there over the many years as you find the ancient buildings next to the new sky scrapers. Should shopping be your cup of tea then you're going to love Berlins many different shopping areas and high end boutiques. You might even want to wonder through the fascinating flea market! No matter what it is that your shopping for Berlin will have a way for you to find it. Take your time when you're visiting Berlin, maybe even take in the city by way of a bike tour. No matter what you choose to do in this wonder and ever changing city you are sure to have a great time and really enjoyed yourself. Visiting Berlin now will leave you with so many wonderful stories to share and the ever changing history of the city will make you want to come back again and again to see what will change next. Just imagine what you will be able to tell your grandchildren that you saw when you were in Berlin! |
